Cobleskill Taekwondo & Martial Arts, LLC, opened in February 2013.
Taekwondo classes are taught under the direction of Master Gross. Ms. Gross earned her 1st Dan Black Belt in April 2008, her 2nd Dan in November 2010, her 3rd Dan in May 2013, her 4th Dan in May of 2016, and was just promoted to 5th Dan in May 2021. She is a Certified AAU Black Belt and has competed at the local, regional and national levels. Ms. Gross is a 5-time National Champion adding the latest gold medal from the 2019 AAU National Championship in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Ms. Gross retired from competitive fighting for a couple of years, and the returned to the ring at the 2013 AAU Adirondack Regional Championship and won a Gold in Forms, and a Gold in Sparring.

Miss Shannon Gross became a 3rd Dan Black belt in November 2014, and has been training in the art of taekwondo since she was 8 years old. She has competed at the local, regional and national levels. Her most recent achievement was winning a Bronze at the 2014 AAU National Championship. She has also won Gold in Forms at the 2013 AAU Adirondack Regional Tournament. Shannon placed 5th in her division of 12 at the 2013 AAU National Championship.
Do we have Assistant Instructor's? - Yes, we do.
Beth Cooper is our Assistant Instructor because of her knowledge and ongoing commitment to train in taekwondo.
Do we have Junior Assistant Instructor's? - Not at this time, they grew up, graduate high school, start college or work full-time. They don't stay young forever.
